Some of my fave close-up shots. I really tried to push my brushwork, staying loose while also trying to be accurate. 🙂
45 minute pose from last night’s life drawing. Slapping some colour down. 👏
Here were the two poses I took to the final printing stage. The red and black values were fed into the printer separately to produce the effects in the tweet above. I haven’t actually see how the second one came out, but I’m hoping to pick it up next week! ☺️
Three very different sketches from last night's life drawing. I've had a rotator cuff injury for the past 3 weeks which makes iPad sketching a bit tricky, but I really enjoyed getting to be a bit playful with colours. ☺️
I went to write down some dates and realised that I did not have a 2020 calendar so I've now ordered myself the most delightful one Amazon had to offer 😌
Warm ups, and then a ~10/15 minute pose from life drawing tonight. Embracing the neon pink but pretty rusty from neglecting my painting.
Garden lilies 🌸 I never have the time or discipline to do #Inktober but I have at least finished one of the paintings on my iPad. I started this on the plane to Portugal in June and forgot to ever go back to it.
(Re-Upload because I tweaked the colours)
While I was travelling on the bullet trains in Japan I did a masters study of an Edward Cucuel piece. I love all his work, so vibrant and elegant!
