Day 37 of lockdown / self isolating - it’s bin day! Exciting! The bin lorry didn’t stay still long enough for me to draw so I sketched grandson Roo’s instead. #uskathome

Yesterday I spent some time exploring Bishop’s Castle - my favourite small Shropshire town. Had lunch at the excellent Castle Hotel.
Touch of urban sketching this afternoon out in Coalbrookdale - where iron was first smelted by Abram Darby using coking coal. Great historic significance. Pictured here are the Museum of Iron and Rosehill and Dale Houses - the ‘Darby’ houses. All situated in a deep, lush valley.
