Let it be known that on January 10th, 2020, Zane was pushed into another (hopefully long) stat-based roleplay. He's already been racist towards 2 of the 3 characters he has met and has gotten onto the topic of... toilet paper.

(Racism towards animal people is okay, right?)

I haven't JUST been drawing Zane. It's just that when I'm NOT drawing Zane, all I'm doing is drawing boring bust shots for icons (and as practice. And out of guilt).

I still cannot draw faces. STILL NEED MORE PRACTICE.

(Drew Sameface Era Zane too. Purposefully shading poorly was fun.)

Sameface/Anime Era had atrocious shading and the eyes were wonky, but at least characters could sometimes look cute instead of scarring.

(Or maybe I prefer it just because it's so old that I'm not embarrassed.)

I drew a new Zane in my old style to see how bad he'd look. (Very bad.)

Such dark times... The Longface Era started as an attempt to escape the Sameface Era, but I went WAY too far. I'm not fully out of the Longface Era, but at least I'm better than I was in 2011-2015.

11 months later and it is finally more official.

(Darn it, why are half the things I draw now at least slightly pervy?)

He was originally planned as a colonizer from an imperialistic nation, who mistreated the locals because he's an evil jerk. Also, no magical power.

In 2018, I made him a mage because it fit his stat spread for his first roleplay. From there, he evolved into more of a researcher.

My baby Zane turns 1 today. Or 9. Depends on whether we're talking about the year he was created or the year he was DEVELOPED.

I don't have the date for when he was designed or named, thus 'first roleplayed' is his birthday.

@TioTitulo I could see Corpio giving a 10/10 too, given such dumb changes might be amusing, but the 0/10 is for 'he's no fun anymore.' (Nah, he'll be back to normal once Zane leaves.)

That is one legit looking glass eye. And his ears grew... because I drew them wrong the first time. Shh...

@TioTitulo I wasn't able to finish in time, but aren't belated gifts the BEST gifts, because you don't expect them? Yes, this is now the BEST gift, automatically. NOBODY ELSE MAKE AN EVEN LATER GIFT, OR I'LL BE DEFEATED.
