Super Taco Crew (2021)
DeckerWolf
Playtime - 2.5 hours (I'm a fast reader)
A furry, cyberpunk, heist, adventure. I enjoyed my time reading it, & I think it's worth it. The first half is slow, the second half is breakneck, & the pacing can be a bit jarring, but a fun story/art.
Sucker for Love (2022)
Akabaka
Playtime - 71 minutes (gameplay caused my hand to cramp & hurt so I watched the rest on youtube)
Wonderful story/characters, with an even balance of horror/comedy. I just wish the "chanting" gameplay didn't need to be perfect in order to continue.
Heaven Dust (2020)
One Gruel Studio
Playtime - 3 hours
Do you like Resident Evil? Do you like speedruns? Then you'll love this condensed homage to RE complete with valve puzzles. Rough around the edges, but it doesn't outstay its welcome, and accomplishes what it sets of to do.
Before I jump off Twitter for my own good, here's some titles to consider on Steam for no apparent reason:
Loop Hero - $4.94
Over the years, lower key games have become something I enjoy. This is basically low key staring down the barrel of a gun. It's hard to explain the game I wasn't aware there could be so much understandable, and in-depth concepts.
Xanadu Next - $7.49
I think I recommend this in most of my GOG rec threads, and it really is just a fantastic PC action RPG. The story is very fascinating, the gameplay is solid, the music is ambient. I just really love this game.
Phantasmagoria - $6.49
Ever wanted to play a schlocky, gory, 80s style, straight to VHS sort of point-and-click horror game? That would be this, and also (depending on who you talk to) Roberta Williams' arguably best game.
Games with a fantastic Silent Hill-like aesthetic whose stories don't absolutely shit the bed and become insulting. (I hate comparing games to major franchises when I don't have to, so apologies to the devs)
