No. 1 got their legs cut off and drowned to death in Labyrinth Zone, No. 2 got burned to death in Marble Zone and No. 3 got plunged in the face with the end sign at the end of each level in Green Hill Zone

BTW the beta Eggman fellow is called Negris/Edgar

He's basically one of Notnic's victims that actually got to be Eggman instead of Sonic, and basically he is tying to find his dsughter, also inside the game while fighting off Notnic
