It's Christmas, and I'll be smothered in paint right through the holiday.
I peeked around my walls to find the most Christmas-y original remaining...
...and I arrived at this one.

This one is a painting I finished many, many years ago.
I didn't know it at the time, but it was destined to become the cover art for my dystopian novel - Lords of the Black Sands.
At the time, I'd named it 'The Warden.'

This one felt somewhat bleak.
But I'm compelled to share it all the same.

I stayed up late, late, late last night.
And finished something new & different...
