Inspired by Cicely Mary Baker's Flower Fairies and Brian Froud's various faeries and goblins I created a dragonfly faerie. I wanted to make something less traditional but still recognizable as a faerie.

I've started taking some classes on to expand and practice my art skills. These pieces were made as part of Liz Kohler Brown's class on Limited Palette Illustration. I've always found colour to be a little tricky so I like to take any chance I can to learn more.
