Knew I’d forgotten something: the kind of beveled temple “scoop” shape I always add (thanks, Bob Ringwood!). You can see some additional creases and seams. I don’t like to make ‘em too busy, but I do always think about how the cowl might be constructed.

My first crack at Great Lord Dracula from my comic ACTION DRACULAS. If I can get a satisfactory head sculpt, I plan to 3D print it and have it in the center of an upcoming (traditional) sculpture of the team.
