From Sketch, to 60min Study, to Finished Painting!

This was the 2nd of our studies started this past Wed on StudyJAM w/ @pamadak There's so much subtly to the lighting, it was particularly tricky working through it today. Appreciate you having a look!

This one started off during our weekly community StudyJAM w/ @pamadak We focused on light sources interacting w/ portraits last night. Initially 60m, I spent another 90m this afternoon tweaking my painting, proportions & polishing it up.

Another awesome portrait study session yesterday! This is what we ended up with. A departure from some of the harder edges & dynamically lit refs from previous weeks, but I still learned a lot!

Last night's studies were intense! Using @palitra_color color swatches @pamadak & I applied those to b/w photo refs & let the community reimagine each w/ limited colors. I loved the creativity/energy everyone had last night, you killed the challenge!

More studies from our weekly session w/ @pamadak ! These were much quicker, 45-60min each, portraits w/ an emphasis on hair

StudyJAM is back tonight after a week hiatus! It'll be a prompt night which always brings out the most ridiculous and creative work. 7p est come hang out!

Another completed study, done yesterday on Twitch! I've really been enjoying these long sessions, starting with the sketch to the completed/painted form. Hopefully it's been fun to watch too
