Some comic designs for some comparisons.
And omfg the Flash design is an even WORSE downgrade than the Wonder Woman one.
Batman is roughly fine IMO since the movie is basically just a more simplified version+actual batwings. Superman's design is a small improvement tho.
@chewiedanvers The last issue of Spider-Man: Life Story is genuinely one of the best pieces of Spider-Man media ever. This is THE closest a comic has ever gotten to making me cry, and I'll never forget the impact of these pages specifically.
I completely understand people's hesitation, and even their dislike, of the tone shift from the Granolah Arc to the current Super Hero arc. It's jarring as hell.
However, I believe it's necessary for a series like Dragon Ball to have this kind of de-escalation.
Bought this first chance I had. Now it's time to read some #infernogirlred GOODNESS!
God I loved these old games. Sucks that my internet was never fast enough as a kid to really enjoy them like I wanted to. https://t.co/k2I3WVXUCu
Slight spoiler for the new Fantastic Four run, which is awesome btw, but it's weird seeing Reed without a beard again. I just assumed it'd almost always be a part of his character design since he got it.
Especially since he looks so young in Iban Coello's art style.
This is the only image for #4 of Deadly Neighborhood Spider-Man I show cause, once again, the art is BANGING! This issue is just as visually spectacular as the rest, and maybe even more so.
I'm also finally vibing with the narrative, which is a huge plus for me!
8/10 issue.
Okay, I re-read my way through the final arc of the Bleach manga and... I don't dislike it NEARLY as much as I did when I first read it. I will say there is a bit I still have issues with, but for the most part, I did end up enjoying it a ton more.
Ichigo is GOATed btw.
