What make me thinking that Bun is a proto-V-Mon is his ears.

When Watanabe made the official Koromon design his curly ears changed a lot, and V-mon had a look-alike ears.

@Ulforce_Soul thinks that him is a evolved Koromon, and this seems way more right than my thought.
