Anyway, @katiesummerfie2 sent me this, it describes my entire childhood pretty well!

In June 2018 we had @WildLakeland come and do a botanical survey in the field and he found 97 vascular species.

I also found a common skullcap flowering last September, which is great because apparently they aren’t that common!

Are you even a farmer if you don’t own ( and wear everyday) something like this?

Every night around 10 o’clock, just before bed, we always do a quick check of the stock to make sure everything is ok until morning.
I always carry my torch, but tonight someone had left the parish lantern on, so the torch stayed in my pocket.

Some make farming pay by doing tractor work off farm.

Some make farming pay with podcasts & blogs or do talks & appearances to promote farming

Some make farming pay by shearing sheep or foot trimming cows.

Strange how some are regarded as legitimate farmers & others not 🤷🏻‍♂️
