the designs of the various fairies i had on my recent piece! some of the most fun i've ever had designing characters :')

Fairy King's Ceremony

wanted to work with some more rich and vibrant colors and lighting than i have been for a while! also had lots of fun designing these weird fungal/floral fairy creatures

photostudy - having a metallic object reflect warm tones and still come off as metallic was a challenge, esp with all the detail on this pot

my nostalgia for summon night swordcraft story is inexplicable
Sanary, but a bit more modern - foreshortening/posing practice

made these quick and dirty corrections to the color/lighting - lots of stuff i both like and am also not sure about, but at least it was a good exercise? still lots of stuff i gotta think about when i paint :')

really working on challenging myself these days, and perspective + detail is a huge part of that! very happy with how this came out 😊

been working on figure drawings in between working on a bigger piece (that I'm currently kinda stuck on :'))
