Sometimes I do quick drawings, but a picture like this in Don't Call Me Grumpycorn would've taken me at least 4 days to paint, working from 9-7, with an hour lunch break. There are so many little decisions I had to make while I was placing the colours and working out the pattern.
I'm putting together another #DrawingWithSarah video, and I keep thinking about social media and how we're supposed to keep drawing videos very SHORT, so they catch on. Quick little bursts, preferably under 2 minutes.
But that's got me thinking. Children right now have TIME....
I've added quite a few entries to my blog recently! Video challenges, children's drawings, an outer-space book launch and more... click over, if you're looking for something to browse to take you out of lockdown for a bit!

If any of you go way back to @LiveJournal days, you'll remember a slightly bizarre story I was working on, about a family of thatchers. I've blogged about how #ThatchTheMoon came about...
