One of these 4 contenders is about to become my first finished artwork of 2022. Some of them have been sitting abandoned in my drafts for months but I am determined to start the year with some semblance of own-sh*t-togetherness.

Okay I can finally share’em: the last few commissions I’ve been working on for the past couple months or so, all in one post because they belong together. Thank you to the people who commissioned these because you have all been absolute sweethearts.

There’s two options in my case: detailed painting (top row), or simple lineart and flat colors/minimal shading (bottom row).

Going through past art, as one does occasionally, and I remembered how much I worked on this one panel alone. Word to the wise: deciding you want shopping carts from different angles in your scene - bad idea.
