Princess Aesa liked to treat her favorite subjects as play things sometimes. Jonathan in particular was like a cuddly bear to her due to his short stature.

It embarrassed him a little, but deep down he was too polite and/or smitten to resist her playful affection towards him.

There were times this year I felt like I was slipping behind so bad on my art or that I wasn't making as much as I wanted to. Looking back though I'm both surprised yet relieved how far from the truth that really was. e.e;

Burchard (or Burch) is Jon & Lance's superior and Captain of the Guard. Very strict & ill-tolerant for error, but he eases up whenever in the presence of his wife and/or child.

He won't be joining his two knights & Jessica on their quest; he's gotta keep Lomnoria safe after all.

To help set an example; I usually draw small when sketching. Most sketches range from 200 & 700 pxls. at most. When I make it into a full drawing, I'll usually increase the size within the 1200 & 2000 pxls. range.

The Royal Guard partook in weekly sparring as part of their routine; this being no different for Jonathan & Lance.

Lance already had some experience but Jon was too soft & sheltered to keep up. It left him miserable at first, but he got some much needed help & support overtime.

This is gonna get buried so deep but eh, figure I'll post it now while I'm still awake. xD

Anyway, a piece of humble beginnings back when Jonathan (the redhead) and Lance (the furball) were recruits for Lomnoria's Royal Guard.

Crystali can naturally fly but that barely helps them underwater. They must learn how to swim as much as we do, but most prefer to stay above dry land. For Water Crystali; open bodies of water are like a 2nd home so that skill comes naturally.

Crystali made from lightning are usually seen as fierce warriors when they grow up. Joel is no fighter, but he can use his power to help fellow Navigators keep their Stations in working order.

Poor guy was near-sighted upon creation so he needs specialized clear-gem cut glasses.
