Another example of how pokemon designs are becoming more character like more than animal like. (Not saying I don't like them, they're cool. Also, they're *totally* not Mega Men lol)

And a good example of a more recent creature/animal starter design actually comes from the same region. Rillaboom (without the drum). Idk, personally for me, I prefer it when mons are more animal like than human like. It just gets kinda uncanny, ya know?
