鹿の王 is probably the most challenging novel I've ever read in Japanese. The whole story is almost 1200 pages of high fantasy. But the Tsubasa Bunko edition has made it SO much easier to read thanks to furigana and illustrations.
ヒゲとナプキン by 乙武 洋匡 (Hirotada Ototake)
This is a story about a 28-year-old trans man who's struggling with keeping his trans identity a secret from his company and his female partner and she starts pressuring him for children.
@Taylororo @japanesebook If there's not a circle then they at least make it red.
I'm actually upset at the cover of the English translation for かがみの孤城
One of my goals this year is to read the entirety of Log Horizon. One volume a month! It's been a while since I've read fantasy so I'm a little rusty on my vocab! XD
Finished これは学園ラブコメです, an amazingly meta light novel about light novel plots invading a school rom-com. By Gengen Kusano who wrote "Last and First Idol". Recommended for JLPT N2+.
I just started 約束のネバーランド and have already stormed through the first 6 volumes in about 3 days... It's so good!
Working on the presentation for #SakuraCon2018 - Learning Japanese with Anime and Manga.
It's going to be fun and informative! (At least that's the plan...)
