＼Today is “Onigiri no hi” (Rice Ball Day)／
The oldest onigiri was found in the late Yayoi Period (300BC–AD300) remains in former Rokusei Town in Ishikawa Prefecture. It's on the 18th because the kanji for rice “米” is composed of “十(ten)” and ”八(eight)”. Enjoy eating onigiri!
