Time for more ref sheets! This time we're drawing characters named after users on BlogClan, so I did my best to make them faithful to the user's descriptions. Up first is Snaketooth, named after Snakefang of BlogClan!

@VentilianVexus I love all the Night Fury knockoffs, especially Sand Wraiths, but beyond that I really like the Snifflehunch, the Egg Biter, the Grapple Grounder (Wii game version more than the SoD version), and the Tide Glider. :D

@Icefelis She’s tall and lanky like her mom, with an even longer and narrower face, and she has her dad’s longer pelt. Her fur is soft, but tends to settle in these bristly-looking tufts. I had fun coming up with how to portray her blue-green eyes. :D

@TailTangle @ghostfeather2 That looks awesome! :D I also try to incorporate her design on that cover into my design for her. (God, my ref sheet for her is so old, it needs a revamp so bad…)

I know I drew her recently, but I didn’t like the pose or anatomy from her old design sheet, so in honor of River’s release I decided to give her a new pose. So here’s Sunbeam! :D

Back to modern cats - I gave Grassheart here grassy-green eyes, grass blade-ish stripes, and tons of floof. :D

@Ephemeral_Moth As they get older into apprentice age, their head gets less round, and their legs get longer and more gangly. They look like adult cats, but less “filled in” - kind of lanky and awkward, like a teenager that hasn’t grown into their long limbs yet.

@Ephemeral_Moth For kits, they tend to have big, round heads with smaller ears and small, round eyes close to the muzzle - basically the face is kind of shrunk and close together on that big round head. :P As young kittens they have short, stubby legs, and tails that stick out straight…
