Speaking of archetypes, Welf Crozzo is the Magician. The Magician symbolizes spirit, creativity, self-determination, and connection to the divine. As a fiery blacksmith seeking to forge his own path apart from his divinely blessed bloodline, he fits the archetype to the letter.

As much as it pains her, it's almost as if she knows her role as Bell's home, his hearth, his foundation. Rather than selfishly stop him, she does everything she can to support him. (I didn't think much of it in my first read, but now ***I love her***)

Lilly tdoesn't tie cleanly to any classic epic archetype, but the lesson she teaches Bell this volume has some strong possible ties to the High Priestess of the Thoth tarot. The priestess symbolizes mystery, wisdom, and intuition...

Speaking of Hestia, she's one of the easy archetypes to pin down; the goddess of the home and the hearth, bearer of the sacred fire, Hestia is the Great Mother, or if you prefer the Thoth archetypes (made popular by the Persona series) the Empress.

Looking at the frame of the Greek epic, I can see it now; all Greek epics start with an invocation to a muse, the storyteller seeking divine guidance. Omori does not have an invocation for Danmachi - instead, he's put the muse in his myth in the form of Aiz Wallenstein.
