Pinsir is my 2nd favorite Pokemon. It gets completely overlooked in favor of Scyther and Heracross.

Another example is when I tried redesigning Robotnik Jr. from AoStH in the Japanese classic Sonic style. I then got chewed out simply for being different.
Some people have no concept of subjective art styles.
