Was at Prame Ave off W 25th again today. As part of a 30 day direct watercolor challenge, I went straight to watercolor with no penciling. This one is 10x14, not my usual 14x20.

Last weekend the Evergreen Art Group hosted me for their first in person demo since COVID. We had a big crowd and everyone was in a good mood to be out at this sort of thing again.

Hansa Yellow Light (sort of a lemon yellow)
Permanent Alizarin Crimson (a dark pinkish red)
French Ultramarine Blue (a very dark pure blue)

Beached it for the weekend up Ashtabula way and painted these three on Saturday. Painting, the sun, swimming, and going up and down the stairs to the beach totally wiped me out. Still some summer left!

Down in the Flats this morning at Columbus and Carter roads. 80º and 60% humidity. A GLORIOUS day in the Land!!!!
