Grabbed some more detailed Chrono Trigger sprites to test this out with. I'm very much enjoying this, and can see where I can improve Sprytile tools to enhance this workflow more.

Considering how weird polar coordinate pixel art can look, the source file looks relatively normal.
Sprites cursed with the knowledge of their true polygonal nature. I like adding subtle volume/shapes to sprites when working with low poly pixels.
