The first art I ever commissioned in MXTX fandom (by the amazingly talented @/lanbunji) is Jiang Cheng and Jin Ling, because I thought the fandom needed Jiang Cheng being proud of his son-in-all-but-name. This just makes me happy any time I look at it. 💜💛

The details in these are exquisite. Even post-canon, it’s Yunmeng vs Gusu upbringing - the body language, the expressions, the brightness, the way they hold their teacups. Cherry captures so much nuance, it never fails to take my breath away.
