The word #halloween is the least depressing twitter trend I have seen in a week so I will jump on that train.

Witches are trendy right now. I think that's awesome for many reasons. Please be advised though, not everyone who practices divination believes the same stuff. When I do readings or talk about divination, I speak for myself. And, most importantly, no one speaks for me.

I have read palms since I was in middle school. My step father had an old book on palmistry that I memorized. I have read tarot since I was a teenager. My step mother once worked as a boardwalk reader and taught me what she knew. I have studied both practices diligently since.

The most important thing is that was a break, not quitting. Sometimes we need breaks. I need to be more kind to myself when I take one.
