- Last but not least, a winter setting
I loved the long Halloween vibes of the first film but I think it would be really cool to have the sequel take place during the cold, winter season, especially after the flood & if Freeze is the villain.
- Man Bat, Clayface, Poison Ivy, Bane
I can definitely see Reeves implement more fantastical elements in this already gritty, grounded world that he has created. It’s not out of the realm in my opinion.
- Mr. Freeze
Obviously, he is the most popular pick right now to be an antagonist in THE BATMAN sequel.
He is one of the best, most complex super villains in Batman’s rogues gallery & is long over due for an updated, modernized version in a live action film.
Warner Bros. Discovery & David Zaslav’s plans for DC Films going forward are:
- Build a 10 year plan modeled after Kevin Feige’s Marvel Studios.
- Prioritize quality > quantity
- Shift focus on event films centered on THE BATMAN, SUPERMAN, WONDER WOMAN, AQUAMAN, & JOKER.
Now *this* is a great MCU movie poster. Very 80’s high fantasy.
Also, My God… Natalie Portman has never looked better. She will always be queen.
THE BATMAN concept art is just absolutely breathtaking. Despite all the grime & filth in the city, I would seriously love to live in this Gotham. #TheBatman
THE BATMAN: PART TWO
Friday. December 23rd. It feels like we are in the midst of an eternal winter in Gotham. More psychopaths seem to be creeping out from under the shadows. Gang wars over territories throughout the city.
But I’m not giving up… #TheBatman
A B-roll video for THE BATMAN has just been released with first new looks at the revolutionary StageCraft LED screen technology used for the film.
So gorgeous & so much better than your typical green screens. #TheBatman https://t.co/mT3vWY92rc
