Today I learned that the Hawaiian Punch guy is wearing a hat, not Bullwinkle antlers

My Dad passed away peacefully in hospice on July 26. I painted him at his happiest: the day he heard he had a grandchild on the way. He said he was sending his love to the world, gave himself a hug for everyone, and I took the photo I referenced to paint this.

I was thrilled to be able to meet @ACroasdell at the @KupoConEN Pop-up Event (Toronto) this weekend! I can finally reveal a watercolour I made to give him at the event. If you ever get the chance to meet Adam, I recommend it—he’s such a wonderful human being ❤️✨
