i really liked that most of the episode was focused on serena and chloe meeting and participating in the contest and i don't mind her only getting to talk to ash for a minute but i can't help but think they did that cause the xy kiss would be really hard to address

even in universe he gets overshadowed by steven. this joke feels a bit meta lol

even though i like her second outfit from x and y more i still really like this one! i don't think they've ever changed a character's look this much in anipoke. the extra detail of it being an outfit you can actually wear in x and y is really cool too!
