@SomedayNS ..but otherwise what you'd expect and what it needs to be for the format.
I really like the splash pages and panels showing off new zones especially the ones incorporating mechanics that could work really well in an actual revival 2D Sonk game.
@MapledMoose ..miniseries in intimate detail. Can't heartily recommend, but I won't say stay away either. Player's choice.
(It DOES have a fun Wizard of Oz background joke that I'm not sure anyone in my followers will appreciate, but I like it all the same.)
@MapledMoose ..think he intended, and all the big moments with the shapeshifting dragon land good 'n' proper.
(Also it has Dennis, and I like Dennis.)
@MapledMoose ..fantasy genre. A goodly number of concepts are largely there as background gags or pick-up-play-with-discard pieces, and some (like a surface-level dig at Harry Potter) speak to a writer picking fantasy concepts out a hat, riffing on them for a page, and moving on.
And then there are the splash moments when she reproduces Delacroix's work, either using her loose sketchy cartoon style as a basis and layering an approximation of his color theory atop, or further extremifying his colors to highlight the genius of the theory.
(Crash course: well known for his emphasis on color and emotional impact over strict anatomical perfection and classical form. You've probably seen his work here and there, best known for Liberty Leading the People)
(Also he really liked painting weird horses)
@SocialNomadRach Yes, yes, the part where the story lets Wanda have her own voice in defining her gender and points out that Thessaly is being an asshole as Thessaly always does.
I suppose we forgot this page?
@AliSanguis @darthothedead42 @BoundingComics Oh goodness oh gosh, not a character with a variable appearance looking different in adaptation.
I'm gonna post my Homestuck OC and nobody can stop me.
Her name is Heisop Thalmo and she's a Seer of Void and she likes Astronomy and Hurling Boulders.
