I really appreciate the art of watercolour painting. It's so delicate and immediate. This one by Vladislav Yeliseyev of an "Old Church in Havana" demonstrates this and, despite the dark colour palette, it captures a bright, bustling atmosphere. Fabulous!
Isn't it great to see a modern scene painted with such quality. The laptop provides the lighting as we observe the beautiful young woman engrossed in conversation. "One to One" is by English artist Nigel van Wieck (b.1941). He is obviously very accomplished. Fantastic
Here's another great painting by Jim Warren. It's just so imaginative. The colours are fantastic and I always love an umbrella. Fabulous!
Sunday ☀️
A day for reflection.
"You know what I long for, Lord;
You hear my every sigh".
(Psalms 38:9)
For today's " Golden Oldie" I've chosen a romantic, magical painting. It's by Paul Swan an American artist and is called "Water Nymph" and dates to 1907. It's a beautifully painted work and I love the detail of the waves and the wings. It's just perfect. Fantastic!
Here's something magnificent for you from artist Anya Janssen. She says" The people I paint always seem to be in transition or standing at a crossroads. It's really mysterious, but I'm always led to an encounter "meant to be". Enjoy!
Jordi Feliu was born in Barcelona, Spain in 1952. He works out of Brazil and I think you'll be impressed by this fine art. Amazing.
