Double - The Hierophant.
There were a couple of fitting cards for Double, but in the end I decided to go with The Hierophant, since it's the card thats connected with spirituality, beliefs, conservatism and embracing traditions.

One of a few puns that I just couldn't give up on while creating this series, sorry not sorry.

Marie - Death.
Death is not such a bad omen, usually it means that one thing ends and another begins.
I chose Marie to represent Death since she is the final boss and beating her signifies a major change with a new Skullgirl emerging.

Squigly - The Lovers.
I love the relationship between Squigly and Leviathan, not romantically maybe, but their bond is so strong and special! That’s why I think they fit the role of The Lovers 💜
