Heading to GenCon to setup my table in the art show. I'm #33 which is along the front edge. Here's a little map. Also some of the new pieces that weren't here last year.

Some people have seen my Bloodline Necro, Demotion, and Bond of Insight sketches and think I do nice sketches. As a counter argument let me present my Modern Horizons sketches. These are what I sent in so there were 5x as many made. I do less but more detailed ones for covers,etc

One of my Modern Horizons cards has been released and it's a damn good one! DEFILE! This was such a fun one to paint. I love getting into patterns/textures like I also did with that lava piece of mine. Art direction by @SheppardArts #MTGMH1

Daily sketch gone too far. I did have a normal dragon but then decided to swap in Ugin because I like his design. Might get some reference together and finish it later.

Today's sketch. Smoke and Mirrors. Been listening to some Monsters & Fables lately so I thought I'd make an attempt at @TJStorm01 's likeness. All done using a rake-like brush in Paintstorm Studio.

@misterkristoff Oh yeah! Double dark ritual for a first turn Sengir Vampire was the best. Lol . That card and Rune are my head canon for vampires. Attached is Rune
