I don't think it's a hot take to say this is one of the best KoF games without question. You may have a favorite you like more than this, 98 is still my favorite, but this is my #2 favorite KoF game. Best FG of the year and probably past 20 years IMO.

Hard to believe they turned a Konami beat em up into an actual legitimate contender for a top 5 beat em up of all time. Fixes all the problems with Konami beat em ups and creates a hyper flavor of high mobility combo heaven. KILLER soundtrack.
