One of my favorite tropes is taking a young protagonist and seeing them as an older, grizzled version of themself. Not that this sort of thing will come into play in the comic, I just had it on the brain and wanted to draw it. Maybe in the epilogue 🤔 #characterdesign

How I usually end up with a finished drawing. I don’t rlly bother with that whole “drawing a circle with a cross” thing for sketching faces, that’s fake news. Real bros just eyeball it till it kinda looks right. (But then again I draw cartoons and not actual portraits, so..)

Last week as an electrician, (at least for some time.) Firefighter training starts for me in October, and after that I’ll be on a much more flexible schedule that may allow me enough time for two pages a week instead of one. Looking forward to it 👍🏻

Finished the banner art for the webcomic site :) may touch up slightly before setting it up but this is pretty close to final product
