“Here is a small glimpse of some artwork into the big, epic world-building we’re creating, and I need the time to do it right.” - James Wan

Wan says AQUAMAN AND THE LOST KINDGOM - which was seven months from release before today’s delay - does not have any finished shots yet.

Thinking about the amazing transformations Matt Reeves, Mike Marino and co. did with Penguin and Joker in THE BATMAN makes me even more excited to see what they could conjure up for characters like Freeze, Two-Face, Ivy and others. Big opportunity for some really cool designs.

Finally caught up on and my only regret is not watching it from day one. Endlessly engaging melodrama, genuine stakes that keep you on the edge of your seat and stunning production values make this one of the best shows on right now. I can’t recommend it enough.

WB continues to prove why it’s still the most exciting major studio. Yes, they rely on IP like everyone else, but they’re still giving mid-budget goods to folks like Luhrmann, Gerwig, Wilde and big-budget freedom to filmmakers who know how to use it, like James Wan, Matt Reeves.

Can’t stop thinking about how Jeremy Strong almost played Gil Colson. He would’ve been perfect, but I’m glad he decided to not take such a small role. I think there’s a number of great characters he could play, but hear me out:
