I've settled on a look. The prompt says nothing about a surfer, only an ocean wave. The content loss and video motion serve mean there is a hint of the original character, but he is, as it were, 'One with the wave'.

I also fed in one of my SIREN shader faces with сюрреалистический портрет as the prompt, with some fun results:

Some of my early code art from 2014. The Linux Voice magazine had a competition to use 100 lines of code using the python turtle module. My business card still has these images and the text 'Things Done' 😂

The approach for this was very similar to 'The Crawl' I shared a few weeks ago. VQGAN+CLIP with optical flow adding movement. The motion was 'performed' with my hand. Here are some stills as I tested ideas, and my initial image which I'm quite proud of ;P

Art date with my wife :) I'm pausing work on mine (top right) and feeding it through VQGAN+CLIP with various prompts to see if any inspire me to explore a particular direction. Would love to pull off something like bottom right but coherent - maybe that's a future project.
