I used to have a lot of ideas for drawings I wanted to do but didn't have any confidence in myself to actually do anything about it. The doodle on the left is from 2008. The one on the right is from 2020, when I got over myself and actually started putting in effort.
Alrighty. Here's my attempt at participating in @yardleyart's #coloristjam. Experience the Sonic world through my colorblind eyes!
Lineart and flats: Tracy Yardley
Color rendering: Me

Currently working on coloring the line art Tracy Yardley put out for a color jam. His lines and flats, my rendering. Maybe I'll be done by EOD tomorrow, not sure.
Just some loose experimentation. I took an older drawing (right) and recolored it (left) and just messed around. Not all of it works but I had fun and I think I learned a few things.
My colorblindness makes blending and color matching hard.
These are some of the first digital drawings I did back when I was trying to get back into art after a long hiatus.
I don't deal in regret & my life has been mostly positives. But if I ever need a pick-me-up, these serve as reminders that it was never too late to start again.
Happy Holidays, everyone!
Pencils and inks by me.

We all hope you have a wonderful and safe holiday season. Love you all. <3
