@alexriesart When I'm feeling burnt out and lazy, I sketch from photographs, or else experiment with color design and just paint on a single layer. Playing with lots of random experiments like this - and staying AWAY from my usual subject matter & process! - has kept me feeling creative.

@alexriesart I switched to pen-and-ink for over a year and it rejuvenated me. I used black-and-white to experiment with compositions, to tackle new subject matter, to try being funny, dramatic, cool, etc. I challenged myself to draw things that I *specifically* didn't know anything about.
