I found the hardest part of re-scaling #breathoffire I to Hi-bit is translating the front-on sprites to the 45* angle view of III and IV. Even the original art for the Dragon shrines is head on, and I probably rounded the edges a bit too much. @BreathofFire_
I refurbished @BreathofFire_ I's Drogen, in the hopes that @CapcomUSA_ @CapcomEurope @dev1_official will refurbish the #breathoffire series.
Reference: 1) In game map 2) DrWarp/Prolog map 3) Refurbished map based on the prolog, and using colors from the nearby city of Camlon
Also ripping textures from #breathoffire Dragon Quarter. I would have never guessed that some environmental objects seem to used digitized pictures of real rocks to simulate rocks.
So, I was messing around again with extracting models from #breathoffire Dragon Quarter, and am still not any closer to solving my problems with distortion from the camera...
Looking at dragon forms between the games again, the number of arms on the dragon forms may be an indicator of how to sort the games into different universes. 6 limbs in #breathoffire 1-3, vs. 4 limbs in BoF4 and 5.
Gone fishing for more #BreathOfFire recipes. In the meantime this promo image reminds me of crayfish boil. So, in the style of Cedar woods: *spice mix may need some adjustment
