@JabukiYoe There’s so much to this series and to Joe as a character. You could write multiple essay’s on Joe Yabuki’s character and development and how his life ultimately turned out. It’s one of the very few series out there I honestly consider perfect in terms of character writing.

@chuchumcgoo In Dragon Quest 5 there is a man who is secretly a Dragon. He calls himself Dr. Agon. This is peak video games.

@chuchumcgoo There’s also a flying dog monster with a crossbow called a Barksman. Far as I’m concerned JRPGs and maybe video games as a whole peaked with Dragon Quest.

I love both a lot but AnJ is my favorite anime of all time. I also think AnJ has better art but exclusively when AnJ2 happens and Osamu Dezaki gets his Postcard Memories style in full swing to make my favorite stills in all anime.

@AshitaContext Art is all by Junichi Hayama who was the animation director of the old JoJo’s Bizarre adventure OVA. His work is iconic and fantastic, he’s drawn tons of art not just for Tomorrow’s Joe but also JoJo as well as Fist of the North Star
