I think gameplay wise Phantom Pain is much better than this in like every way possible, which makes sense for a lot of reasons. Peace Walker also helps to make Big Boss’s eventual fall into villainy feel more gradual. There’s important story elements in Peace Walker for sure.

It’s Dragon Quest’s 36th anniversary in Japan! This is my absolute favorite RPG series and I cannot say enough good things about these games. I’ve had so many fond memories playing this series throughout my life and I’m looking forward to continuing to play them as I grow older!

FE Awakening is ten years old today. It’s definitely not my favorite game in the series, but I have a ton of nostalgic value for this game and still hold it close to my heart.
