Lucky.

Months ago I did a test for a project about a farm and its animals. I always wanted to work on an " animalière", but the project didn't go on.
So it's still in my wish list, I love to draw friendly pet and savage fellas.

The big boy, his mother, and the new sneakers.

( I love to work with secondary characters, even if they don't talk or only appear in the story for a very brief sequence - like in this case -, to build a deeper univers so the reader can feel a whole world inside the panels. )

Coming back from vacation.

The speech is about frustration and dealing with difficult times. So to draw her was about to find the balance between anger and hope and humor, because she talks to her husband, who is not always very empathic.

To draw this speech from this character ( the most complex I've ever done ) I had to imagine a very strong and truthful woman, resilient and with great sense of humor...
...Which is basically like the most part of women I Know and admire.
