Recently I discovered the work of Ryoichi Ikegami, Japanese manga artist. I really love the classic style while also keeping the manga flavor. I would love to get my hands on that Spiderman manga, any ideas where?

Here is the Nightcrawler concept design I did for XM studio! I love to play with the design of the character, thinking of different materials and pushing the pose for a dynamic and powerful figure. I can’t wait to see the final product!

Here are some process shots from my Batman: Urban Legends #4 variant cover🦇I did the initial sketch and pencils on photoshop, then I did a print out on toned paper where I rendered all the characters with Copics, Prismacolors and Indian ink. Finally, I added colors in Photoshop.

After a long search for references on Pinterest and shooting some of myself, I start working on polishing the shapes in Photoshop looking for balance in the values and use of textures. I always remind myself to go from big general strokes and shapes and then the details.
