Results from the #paleostream!
Epipliopithecus (another #MonkeyCruise piece), Nyanzachoerus, Megalochoerus and Confractochoerus.
The last 5 pieces of the second "favorite dinosaur poster" were done on todays #paleostream. You see here Sinosauropteryx, Utahraptor, Anodontosaurus, Silesaurus and Aquilops.
Mamenchisaurus is maybe better known BUT LOOK AT THIS THING!!! Xinjiangtitan is an absolute monster of a sauropod, especially when it comes to it's neck.
Now Carnotaurus seems the obvious choice for a abelisaur on this poster but with it's wide skull and short legs Majungasaurus takes the cake for me. It's also nice to have another animal from Madagascar in here.
I was torn between Therizinosaurus and Deinocheirus but ended up with the later one because we just have more material to work with. And besides it's massive arms it also brings a "sail" and a weird skull to the table. A total plus in my book.
Fresh from the printer press joins Tlotolophus from Mexico, with it's complete skull and VERY aesthetic crest shape it made it one of my favorite hadrosaurs instantly.
These days it's hard NOT to include Miragaia. With it's long neck it breaks the usual stegosaur mold and numerous extremely long spines speak for itself.
Navajoceratops is a newcommer on the chasmosaurine block and you might argue that it's too early for a place on the poster but with it's wonderful frill shape it at least already has a place in my heart.
