Short warm up painting from this morning !

Finally finished the repaint of my wife's #warcraft character, the original I did way back in 2009 (different gear).

I'm still not where I want to be yet, but I'm making progress. Humbling to do comparisons like this sometimes, when you feel like you're not progressing at all

I get asked a lot about going from greyscale -> colour. I'm no expert, but one thing I'm finding that adds more life: splash in random bits of other colours.

These rocks are brown/sand but by throwing some purple around, it all gets mixed in during rendering and adds character!

Had an awesome opportunity from @UbiAustralia to paint up my version of the two new operators, Alibi and Maestro, coming in the new R6 Siege update! Lots of fun with this one! 😃
