This project was his last in Detroit before moving to California, and a precursor to his even larger scale speculative projects such as the Biomorphic Biosphere (1971) for Los Angeles

A few more details of Glen Howard Small’s beautiful psychedelic sci-fi renderings. Small’s “rendering guru” was the illustrator-designer Syd Mead, famous for designing the Blade Runner sets.
