I finished Dark Souls 3's base game, and while it had some pesky technical flaws & lacked the inventiveness of other Soulsborne games, it's a beautifully curated world with intriguing lore and some epic boss fights.
@ALazyUniverse welp, I zoned out towards the end and probably missed a few, but I did try to fill it out
I watched Ponyo, and it was a really adorable & kind of dreamlike movie with some great underlying messages & beautiful animation. The third act is a little messy, but it's still enjoyable regardless. 8/10
I finished ANJ S2, and while it had its ups and downs, I'm still glad I watched it and gained a better understanding of the many techniques Dezaki used to make this show work. At its core, it's a story with a big heart that is held down by the limitation of its time.
I watched Everything Everywhere All at Once, and it was a batshit insane film with tons of visual flair, unique ideas, wacky humor, and a hard-hitting message about life and its meaninglessness, as well as the time we make of it. 9.5/10
I watched Death Parade, and it was a really engaging commentary on death, the complexities of relationships, and how people deal with their shortcomings. Games are enjoyable from start to finish. Great animation and an incredibly catchy opening. 7.5/10
