I really love the transition of colors in this scene—used to emphasize a tonal shift. One of the best coming-of-age stories.

Note: Natsu e no Tobira is another one of Keiko Takemiya’s comics that got adapted into an OVA, but that one isn’t mentioned nearly as often.

I haven’t finished it—but I started playing Dies irae: Also Sprach Zarathustra last year, but I never got the chance to finish it because of having to move. In between my projects, I will probably pick it up again, due to my passion for Tōken Ranbu being rekindled. (⅓)

This is the first time I have ever eulogized a celebrity, but I have written to Zac Bertschy. He liked & responded to my replies on the podcast, so I felt a more personal connection to his work then say, David Bowie. I miss hearing him, even if our opinions often diverged. (⅔)
