Well, depression notwithstanding, I'm going to share some sketch art made to highlight portions of my FFXV fancomic "Bandit Revolver", starting with a glimpse at what Noct was up to in the ten year gap between the prologue and Episode 1.
He definitely didn't sleep in a crystal.
